Delicious breakfast, clean, quiet room, very helpful staff
Wish for light-weight blanket as alternative to puff. We found a heavy blanket in the closet.
The room and bathroom were a nice size in comparison to most european hotels. The beds were comfortable and the third bed (which is usually an uncomfortable cot in most hotels) was also very comfortable. The attendant on duty until 11pm was very nice.
It did not have a refrigerator, which I think was due to its electricity consumption being a "green" hotel. It was also farther from the city center than we expected, but if you wanted to be near the concert hall and museums it would be a good location. Breakfast was too expensive, so we just got food from the grocery store and four of us ate for the price of one person's breakfast at the hotel.
great location, incredible staff, excellent breakfast, extra large and very clean rooms, good rate quality/price
Situation on the tram line was convenient
Comfort rooms, excellent service
good quiet location, lovely helpful staff
didn't like mattress toppers on bed , too soft and eco lighting slightly dull
The size of the room, cleanliness, location
very poorly trained staff, extreemly noisy cleaning staff, an amateur feeling in a hotel charging over a 100 eurs a night. poor breakfast and not so fresh. dirty dining room. in short - very bad an uninterested management.
Very good location
The room was extremely cold! When we arrived the heaters were turned down (it was round 2 degrees woutside so inside not much more). I turned on the heaters to max, it helped a bit but when we came back late at night they were completely cold, even though they were set to 5. I was freezing the whole night long! Additionally we only had hot water during the first day, on the second it was warm, but impossible for me to wash my hair...
staff very attentive and helpful; location very convenient; room was huge and shower very impressive
no issues (corridors were vacuumed from 9am which was a little early if having a lie-in)
Decent and clean rooms ,excellent bed and a top location nearby the concertgebouw and musea. easy to reach by train ,tram connection.and if by car paid parking garage options nearby museum (expensive) a bit further away olympic stadium(cheap) .
I would choose a room at the backside garden as frontside room on the street is more noisy.
Friendly staff who were always greeted me as if I were a firend, and helpful with any question; room comfortable and well appointed and everything worked; great location; appreciated the effort to be green, use organic and fair trade products..
The hotel's location within walking distance to the museums and opera house is excellent for an arts-oriented visit. It's about a 10-minute tram ride to/from the city centre, but it's easy because the stop is directly opposite the hotel and you don't have to change trams; there are also tram stops near the Van Gogh museum. My room was spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. I was shown a room on the ground floor facing the busy street and asked for one up higher; this was willingly changed. My new room was quiet and had a nice view over the back street. The staff on all shifts were very approachable, kind and helpful. I was very happy staying in this hotel.
Nice place, just outside the city centre, near Van Gogh museum. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. Large rooms with minimal furniture and comfortable beds. Perfect for families and young guys.
If you can, rent a bike so that the distance from the city centre is not annoying.
We really liked this little Hotel, the room, the service and most of all, the people! Clean, good breakfast and eccellent value!
rooms clean, good but expensive breakfast, Roel was excellent. great location. housekeepers were attentive. garden and breakfast area very pretty.
problem receiving calls in the room. some nights were expensive (during the conference)
